This Privacy Policy explains how ProStream PORTAL CO. L.L.C S.O.C (“ProStream Portal”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit prostreamportal.cc (the “Site”), contact us, apply to work with us, or use our nanny placement and visa services (the “Services”).

1. Who we are

ProStream PORTAL CO. L.L.C S.O.C is a limited liability company (single owner) licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (Commercial Licence No. 1579081, Commercial Register No. 2762782), based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We operate under the name ProStream Portal and provide nanny placement and visa services to families in the United Arab Emirates. ProStream Portal is an affiliate of Maids.cc. For the purposes of this policy, we are the controller of your personal information.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us and information collected automatically:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number and city or country of residence.
  • Service details such as your household needs, preferred schedule, number and ages of children, and any notes you share with us.
  • Visa and identity documents needed to process visas and permits, such as passport copies, photographs, residence visas, Emirates ID and medical test results, for families and for nannies.
  • Applicant information from nannies who apply to work with us, such as work history, references, languages and skills.
  • Communications you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or other channels.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide the Services you request.
  • To match families with suitable nannies and to screen and verify applicants.
  • To prepare and submit visa, permit and other government applications on your behalf.
  • To communicate with you about your request, placement, documents and payments.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site and our Services.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations in the UAE and elsewhere.

4. Legal bases

We process personal information where it is necessary to perform a contract with you or take steps at your request, to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, or with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the Services:

  • With government authorities and approved service centres for visa, permit, medical and identity processing.
  • With Maids.cc and its affiliated companies that help us deliver the Services.
  • With service providers that support our operations, such as hosting, email, communication and payment providers, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Between families and nannies, limited to the information needed to arrange a placement.
  • Where required by law, regulation, legal process or to protect rights, safety and property.

6. Where information is processed

Our Services are provided in the United Arab Emirates. Some of our service providers, such as hosting and email providers, may process information outside the UAE. When we do so, we take reasonable steps to protect it in line with this policy and applicable law.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, accounting and regulatory requirements, and then delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. Information about children that parents share with us to arrange childcare is used only to provide the Services.
